Qaitbay Castle
Built by Sultan Ashraf Seifeddine Qaitbay on the Mediterranean coast in the same place as the ancient Lighthouse, which was destroyed during an ancient strong earthquake, this castle is one of the forts impervious to the people and the army from the many threats to the city. The castle was built with high fences about 4 meters high and about 2 meters wide and the castle was built in two full years.
