Split is a second largest city in Croatia. It has a rich heritage and its beautiful scenes were part of lots of films and TV shows including the worldwide famous Game of thrones. It has a long, sunny promenade that makes part of our culture of drinking coffee. Beautiful sunsets with palm trees, sound of the sea is definitely a dream coming true. Have you heard about picigin? It's a traditional game with a ball in the shallow sea. It is a very popular among men and boys but girls can play it too. Although you may think it's played only in the summer, you can spot at least one group playing it during the whole year. It's possible because we have warm winters but if you meet bura - a strong, cold wind from the north you wouldn't believe us! It makes you feel it's 5 to 10 degrees colder than it really is.
