Project INTERNATIONAL CATS CALENDAR 

SCHOOL 1 WRITES “A Cat Gita” &nbsp;Near the central hospital appeared a young cat. The cat lived in the garden but&nbsp;hid somewhere between buildings because there were a lot of&nbsp;dogs in the street and it was dangerous for her to walk. The cat started to go to the shop “Pumpkin” and the good saleswomen gave it food every day. When the weather was bad no one wanted to take the cat home, so the saleswomen let her in during the day, but they couldn’t leave her in the shop for a night. The cat gave birth to kittens but no one survived.&nbsp; A year ago in spring, the saleswoman asked the volunteers to&nbsp;help sterilize the cat&nbsp;and they took the photo of the cat and posted on Facebook with thoughts that good people would take it&nbsp;in the family. After the operation, one family took her home to&nbsp;help her survive. But the cat ran into the street again because it got used to the shop.&nbsp;In October the saleswomen called the volunteers who took care of the stray animals in Sambir because they wanted to help the cat again. The problem was that the cat couldn’t move its leg, which was injured by the car. To save the cat the veterinarian had to amputate its leg. The volunteers raised money to do the operation and they tried to look for a house for a cat.&nbsp; The saleswoman Halyna visited the cat in the hospital every day. Halyna didn’t want the cat to live in the street. When the veterinarian let the cat go home she took it to her house those she lived in the flat and made bandages, took care of the cat, and now the cat lives happily in her family. Halyna doesn’t care that Gita has only three legs, she is happy to have a family.&nbsp; Maksym Prukhnytskii, 7A

Our Story About Cats

Once upon a time there lived a family with a dog. The dog‘s name was Water, because he liked to go to the beach. At Christmas their neighbor presented the family a cat as their gift. The kids named the cat Fire, because its fur was orange.&nbsp; At first the cat liked the house until Water said, "I'm better than you, because the family likes me more‘‘ . Then Fire replied ,”Well I‘m new at the house, so I‘m better than you‘‘. And then the cat got angry and left the house to find better owners.&nbsp; The family was very upset. They were very sad. The family decided to go on a road trip. Halfway through the trip they found Fire! It was very hungry, dirty and cold. After 10 minutes they were home. The family fed the cat and put her to sleep. After she woke up, Water said sorry to her and promised to be its friend forever. Fire accepted the apology and felt very happy.

This is the book of the eTwinning project INTERNATIONAL CATS CALENDAR. Students wrote stories about the cute feline creatures working in international teams of three schools each. The first school wrote the text, the second school drew and the third school read the text aloud. Enjoy this funny work!

Cat Sivko I have a cat named Sivko. I like my cat very much. Sivko is one year old. He is a house cat. Two months ago the doors were opened and Sivko ran out. We live next to the road. It was very dangerous. He was almost hit by a car. He was lucky. My Sivko is very playful. I love him very much and he loves me.

Cat Going to School The name of this brown spotted cat, which has a family of four, is Spotted. He was born in a small street. The people, living on that street, look after him and his family. You can often hear him say to his brother Patik: “If only I could read a book! I'm sure I will love reading books!&nbsp; But I don't know how to read, Patik! Oh, if only I could learn to read a book!” And here is that awesome day! A Cat School has opened! As soon as Spotted heard this, he rushed to his mother: “Can I go, mother? Please!" His mother said, “There are advanced cats going there. You're not an advanced cat." said. She didn't want Spotted to go to Cat School. Spotted's father, Mr. Fistikgöz, came from work.&nbsp; Mr. Fistikgöz said that his daughter, Spotted, could go to Cat School.&nbsp; His brother Patik also supported his older sister, Spotted. Ms. Mrnav, Spotted's mother, was not quite convinced. But he had to accept. The next day, they enrolled in the Cat School on Tunalı Hilmi Street. After getting all the necessary books, they went back to the house. The first day of school! As Spotted, Booties is just as excited!&nbsp; After eating her spotted breakfast, she excitedly slung her blue bag over her shoulder and ran to school. The first lesson is the introductory lesson. When he returns home in the evening, his mother consoles Spotted, who is sitting sadly because the teacher does not give homework.&nbsp; "You can't learn a letter on the first day anyway," he says. Months later, Spotted goes to school excitedly as if it were the first day. They always write that day.&nbsp; Everyone in the class, except Spotted, starts making excuses for "my hand is tired". When he returns home, Spotted continues to write his homework. A year later, Spotted learned to read and write very well. It has a huge library. Spotted proves his mother wrong. “Mom, there is no rule that only advanced cats can go to school. Once upon a time, there lived two very cute kittens - a sister and a brother. Their names were Snowy and Ginger. They used to live in a big beautiful house in a town. Everyone liked them very much. Snowy and Ginger were very playful and loved to greet everyone by saying meow. One day a week before Christmas when they entered the living room they heard a strange sound. They looked around and saw there was a little puppy standing by the Christmas tree. Mary, a little girl, was very happy to play with the puppy.&nbsp;It was Cacao - a little dog adopted by Mr. Joy, Mary's father. Mr. Joy loved animals so he decided to adopt Cacao because the puppy was homeless.&nbsp; First Snowy and Ginger felt a bit afraid and jealous. They used to be Mary’s favourite pets. They thought now Mary would not love them. However, when they saw how worried and lonely Cacao felt, how he looked around restlessly, they suddenly remembered how they felt some months ago when Mr. Joy adopted them. Snowy and Ginger slowly came to Cacao and greeted him by meow. Some hours later Snowy, Ginger, and Cacao were playing merrily around the Christmas tree. One sunny day, a kitten named Puszek went outside to play. When he got bored of playing he decided to go for a walk. He walked and thought about what to do when he got home, but he stumbled over a stone and fell down. His paw hurt so much that he began to cry. Suddenly, a rabbit appeared and asked what had happened. The kitten told the rabbit that he was walking and did not notice to stone. The rabbit grabbed the little cat and helped him up. The white rabbit took him to his cave and bandaged cat’s paw. After a few minutes they ate something, and when it got dark, Puszek thanked the rabbit for his hospitality and left. After his return, the kitten told mother about his adventure, ate dinner and went to sleep. It was a great day☺

Puss in Boots A boy received a cat from his father. The cat asket the boy for some shoes. The cat concinced the king that his master was rich. The cat made the rich Ogre turn into a mouse. The cat ate the mouse. That ’s how the boy got rich!The boy married the king’s daughter.

ADVENTURES OF LITTLE MICI Once upon a time there was a cat. Her&nbsp;name was Mica. She loved haunting mice. She didn’t like that she lived in a small house and one day she decided to run away from it. But as soon as she did it, she got kidnapped by a vagrant. When they arrived to the vagrant’s house he made her hunt mice, but as soon as she started haunting she heard a little family of mice talking: ,,Oh dear, if she eats us, we’re busted.’’ The cat felt sorry for them and let them go. And so they all ended up together and went to their home.

The dog was very lucky because he could live and run in  a big garden. But one day a cat jumped into the garden. The dog was suprised because it had never seen a cat before that day! You know they say that a dog and a cat can't be friends! Nevertheless they became good friends and liked to play together very much.

The little girl and her dad liked to play with their pets in the garden,too. The two pets continued to play every day and they all lived happily ever after!

Miki &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Once upon a time there was a cat called Miki. She was living in a cat shelter. She wanted a family so much. One day a lady came and took her home. She ended up having a home as she always wanted. The lady was feeding her, and playing with her. They also had a little tradition. Every night they read together. After that Miki was falling asleep.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;They loved each other’s company. One day the lady left and Miki stayed home with a neighbor. She was sad. She had enough food and care but she missed their story time. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;When the lady came back, Miki’s life went back to normal and she was very happy. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;It is so beautiful to have a little furry friend to always look forward to you coming back home.

Hocus Pocus! Red haired cat Felix and his black haired friend Blak woke up in their home. It was raining outside and the house was empty. But Felix and Blak weren’t usual cats. All it takes, is to say ”Hocus Pocus” for the adventure to Begin. They teleported on-board a pirate ship. The captain of the ship Pirate Scary Mouse gave them a good scare, so the cats hid in one of the cannons. The captain then proceeded to light the fuse and burned their bottoms, as the cannon fired in the air. Cats landed head first in the sea and swam to a nearby Island. Behind one of the palm trees they found a chest full of treasures. Cats then said „Hocus Pocus we want to go home”. The end!

FRIENDSHIP A dog and a cat A beautiful Golden Retriver did not have a family but one day a little girl saw him and fell in love with him.

She told her dad that we wanted to adopt him. Her dad said:" All right honey, you know, I can do everything for you". Finally this dog had a family and a house.

SCHOOL 1 WRITES Stories about stray cats in Sambir, Ukraine Story “ A cat Tsarapka” One summer evening when the girl was returning home from work, she found a small cat. It was wet, dirty as it was raining heavily and the cat was crying. But the girl couldn’t take this kitten home. At this time a woman came in and took the cat in her arms. She worried about what to do as she had a dog at home which was jealous. At the same time, she liked the cat and wanted to take it home. Her grandson called the cat Tsarapka (Scratcher). It lives at home and in the yard and feels like a queen in this lovely family. She and other people&nbsp;heard a strange noise, she thought it could be a bird or a duck. After the service, the girl decided to go in search of this noise. There was a cat in the tree. Somebody told her that the cat had been there for two days. The girl asked for help and tried to pick up the cat. People took a ladder but could not get the cat. The cat was scared and climbed higher. The girl was upset and went home. But on the way to the house she remembered that she had a friend who worked in the fire department. So, she called him and told him about the situation. The fire truck arrived but they did not have any permission to remove the cat from the tree. One of the firefighters felt sorry about the cat and came there the next day and climbed the&nbsp;tree. He caught the cat and gave it to the girl. The kitten was hungry and very thin. it appeared to be a wild cat and still lived in the street. Family members decided to leave the cat to live in the yard and sleep in the building. When winter came, they felt sorry for her and took her home. It took much time to tame her.&nbsp;The cat has lived in this family for 7 years. It is a cute fluffy cat!
