MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL....
Dear Graduating Grade 5s,
Graduation is one of the many memorable events in a student’s life, where there are new dreams, plans and visions. It is a time when you are preparing yourself with excitement to take the next step, a new stage in your life. This year, though, things did not go as we planned which has taught us all to face the uncertainties in our life.
Graduation is one of the many memorable events in a student’s life, where there are new dreams, plans and visions. It is a time when you are preparing yourself with excitement to take the next step, a new stage in your life. This year, though, things did not go as we planned which has taught us all to face the uncertainties in our life.
I am fully aware that our efforts to prevent COVID-19 spread have caused a disruption in this special semester as well as anxiety and concern. We are as heartbroken as you are that we could not celebrate this event at KSM, as much as we would have loved to but the beauty lies in you taking this challenge, and valuing what you have, rather than what you lost.
It’s my proud privilege to take you all through these challenging times with amazing teachers holding hands with you wherever you are in this journey to take the next leap into the IB MYP Programme much as we are being impacted by this global crisis. Together with your support and parents too we could steer the ship in the right direction midst this storm with great success. Take a moment not only to thank your teachers but your parents to exhibit their patience and support to bring you to this day.
I know that many of you have successfully navigated challenging situations in the past, and while this one is certainly both historic and unique, I am confident that we will be a resilient community and that each of you will not only persevere, but learn from this experience. I am as proud of you as at KSM that is what we learn, to bravely face challenges with a smile. I have seen most of you grow over the years, each year bringing a new phase in your life.
It is also a moment to reflect and feel the gratitude towards your mentors, your teachers, for them you were their focus to bring out the best in you and live the philosophy of the school.
The real definition of success, is to be rich in compassion, empathy and respect for all. We all with folded hands welcome you all into the IB MYP Programme.
“Graduation is not the end it’s the beginning of another phase”
I wish you all the best in your future endeavors and will see you soon.
Loads of love and blessings,
Principal
