The Daly STEM Club: Green Screen Projects

Our 3rd Grade STEM club had fun experimenting with GREEN SCREEN Technology!

Group C: Ava, Alex, Bella, Dylan, Evan, Jed Michael, Jude, Maddy, Nate, Scarlett &amp; Sophie

We selected a topic, used the Internet to research and learn some facts about our topics, took notes, and finally wrote brief scripts.

Next, we recorded the video in front of our GREEN SCREEN (a very inexpensive creation using a stand-up bulletin board and green bulletin board paper)!

Mrs. Pinto helped us create the video by using the 3 layers in Do ink. The bottom layer was for the background picture. The middle layer was our video in front of the green screen. And the top layer was for any images that we wanted to pop up during our video. The app is fun and easy to use!

We then selected images in Google to compliment our scripts and added them to the Do Ink app.

We used iPads and a simple app called "Do Ink" to create exciting videos with special effects!

To record our videos, we used an iPad and our Iographer kit, which turned the iPad into a movie camera!  We also used an external mic to enhance the sound.
