eTwinning project: Paintings worth a thousand words

PRE SURVEY AND LAST SURVEY FOR STUDENTS - RESULTS

206 respondents from five European countries (Croatia, Türkiye, Poland, Greece, Bulgaria) took part in the pre survey. More than 3/4 of respondents have already participated in eTwinning projects. Most of the respondents believe that they will learn something new by participating in this project. Most students know the artist Leonardo da Vinci. Half of the respondents are familiar with the artist Vincent van Gogh. The students are familiar with the other mentioned artists to a lesser extent. Most students know the Mona Lisa painting. A third of the students or less are familiar with the other mentioned works of art. Of the mentioned web2 tools, students are most familiar with Google Forms and Wordwall. A third of the students know how to work in a canva. Students in art culture like to paint the most. Most students think that knowledge of fine art is important. More than two thirds of students agree with Goethe's statement: Pictures are there to be looked at, not to be talked about.

210 respondents from five European countries (Croatia, Türkiye, Poland, Greece, Bulgaria) took part in the final survey for students. More than two thirds of the respondents were from Türkiye. Almost all respondents believe that they learned something new by participating in this project. Most of the respondents were impressed by the work of the artist Wassily Kandinsky, and then by Johannes Vermeer. The work Three musicians by Pablo Picasso impressed the respondents the most. During the work on the project, the students got to know a lot of new web2 tools, and the most they got to know was Genially. Almost a third of respondents liked the fashion show with Kandinsky activity the most. The majority of the respondents believe that the goals of the work on the project have been set and achieved. The average numerical grade that the project received from students on a scale from 1 to 5 is 4.68 (1 - I am not satisfied, 5 - I am completely satisfied).
