The shy crab

Fred is a crab that is nervous to use his power in front of his friends. He lives in the deep blue ocean and has animal friends. Billy the big whale is lonely and he is jealous of all of Fred friends so they fight. An old wise fish tells Fred it “doesn’t matter what people think of you”.

Billy was very lonely and always saw Fred playing with his friends. He was very jealous. Fred likes having a lot of friends but he was scared as a cat, being near billy and using his powers in front of his friends.

Billy was tired of seeing Fred with all of his friends and he was starting to get bored and lonely with himself. So he started to make waves towards the coral reef which was Fred’s home. Billy’s waves were so tall it was like mountains.

When Fred saw those waves he knew it was billy at the top of his head. He was very shocked, he felt like he lost his breath. He knew he was the only one that could stop him but he was nervous to use his powers in front of his friends.

Fred walked up to an old wise fish for advice. The fish was the smartest animal in the ocean so he went to him. The old fish said “ It doesn’t matter what people think about you”. He decided that he was going to fight billy and stand up to him.

He saw billy making the waves. He went towards him and said “please stop billy”. Billy told him “what are you going to do”. Billy said “I am going to fight  you”. So then billy smacked Fred to the ground. Fred got really angry and he used his powers. He turned into a beast and everyone was in shock like they saw a ghost. Fred took a big gulp and pushed billy to the ground.

He ended up winning the fight and everyone cheered for him. He was very happy. He was no longer nervous and felt different. He felt like a new crab.

Billy was very angry when he got defeated by Fred. Fred saw him sad and walked over to Billy. He could here billy, sniff sniff. Fred asks, “are you okay”.

Billy cried” no one likes me cause they think I am a bad person and no one wants to be my friend”. 
“ We can be friends but you have to change and start being nice to everyone” said Fred.
“I promise I will be nice to everyone” billy said cheerfully. 

Billy and Fred walked over to the other fish and Fred said “Billy will not do anything mean to us”. The other fish did not know what to say.

“We will play with him only if your nice to all of us” one of Fred’s friends said. 
“ I will, I will  be nice to you guys!” said billy. .Billys heart was racing like a dog.

The old fish walks over to Billy and Fred slower than a turtle. The old fish asked politely “if the little fishes could give them a minute”. 

“ Fred and Billy both of you guys have changed in different ways”.  “ Fred you have changed by not being nervous anymore by showing your powers, and Billy you have changed by being kind to everyone”. Says the old proud fish.

The old fish tells them “go play with their new friends”. So they go over and start to play ball. Everyone was happy that they were getting along and that they were friends. Billy was so happy that he felt like he got a nice warm hug.
