Malala Yousafzai is a young girl from Pakistan who fights for the right of girls to education in her country.
At the age of 11, she began writing (using a pseudonym) on a blog, describing her life in the city of Mingora in northwestern Pakistan after the Taliban occupied the area. They forbade the girls to go to school and Malala through her blog expressed her views on the right of girls to education.

On the morning of October 9, 2012, a man shot Malala Yousafzai in the head while she was inside the school bus, seriously injuring her.
In the days following the attack, she was hospitalized in critical condition in a hospital in Pakistan and then, when her condition stabilized, she was taken to a hospital in Birmingham, England.
In 2013 she was awarded the Sakharov Prize.
In 2014 she was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her fight for girls' right to education.
Today he is the youngest Nobel Prize winner in the world, winning it at the age of 17.
