International Day Of Happiness 20 March 2021

What is the international Day of Happiness? The United Nations has celebrated the International Day of Happiness as a way to recognise the importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world, since 2013.&nbsp; The United Nations invites each person of any age, every classroom, business and government to join in celebration of the International Day of Happiness.

It also recognized the need for a more inclusive, equitable and balanced approach to economic growth that promotes sustainable development, poverty eradication, happiness and the well-being of all peoples. Happiness can be a difficult concept to define, but&nbsp;

broadly it covers two key areas – how we feel in the present moment and how satisfied we are with our lives overall.&nbsp; We asked our students to reflect on this topic. We read about the International&nbsp; Day of Happiness. We discussed it and we wrote some reflections.&nbsp;

France challenged  other countries students to prepare a typical French dish: pancakes. Students were really excited to take part and prepared a lot experiments!!!

The aim of this task is to share information through the people who are symbols of our cultures. The students researched, worked together, played games and watched their works using technological tools. They had a great fun and it was an occasion to learn English language and different cultures in an engaging and funny way!

A famous person in my country (Spain)

For this activity our students worked in groups to prepare a Kahoot. Each group made a question so that you have to answer it after watching a Video. So, actually, they have made a listening exercise about famous Spanish people and other etwinners can try to do it.&nbsp;

Second issue May-June 2021

Here you can see a brief carousel of our most important place of interests both in Livorno (our town) and in Tuscany (our Region). You can see Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca and even the famous tarot’s garden! We hope to meet you all very soon in order to show you everything in presence!!m

Afterwards, we decide to&nbsp; split the class in little groups and create slogans to be printed on T-shirts to celebrate this special day.&nbsp; Students accepted and worked hard to create original slogans using different tools. Some of them preferred to use paper and pencils, some others technological devices. Notwithstanding the pandemic period everything went well and students produced awesome works.

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality.&nbsp; Marked annually on&nbsp;March 8th,&nbsp;International Women's Day (IWD) is one of the most important days of the year to: celebrate women's achievements raise awareness about women's equality

Ciao dalla Toscana!!! We have worked a lot to give you an idea of our town that has got so many things to see! We used Canva to create our posters and we produce videos with explanations. We are your local guides! Everything is available on our Twinspace, have a look!

SPAIN My Hometown, my Country. Cintruénigo

For this activity our students worked in groups to research about location, traditions, economy,… of our hometown. Finally they showed their findings in a presetation and in the videoconference with France. Navarra is north of Spain, limiting with France, Basque country Castilla-Leon, Rioja and Aragon
