Introduction

Once upon a time there was a family of teachers and students who never stopped fantasizing and thinking about how to save our beautiful planet and one of its most valuable resources, which is water …
‘Drop by drop’ is an eTwinning project that is carried out between five European countries: Spain, Finland, Greece, Italy and Slovakia. Little drops of water make the mighty ocean!
This project is created for primary school students in order to explore and discover the importance of water as an essential element of the life of all living beings on the planet Earth, as well as all its manifestations. It gives the children a chance to be creative and to work together with their partners as a means to understand why they should care about saving this valuable resource and how they can help.
Edy, our mascot.
Edy was made collaboratively with each school sewing a different body part.
Edy traveled 9.389 km around all of the countries.
Edy is the mascot of the eTwinning Drop by Drop project. He is not a simple mascot. Edy is a collaborative mascot. He is the symbol of our love and friendship. An exploring otter - we have all agreed on this species after investigating and discovering that otters are one of the common endangered species of all our countries. He was made collaboratively with each school sewing a different body part.
