Aretusa Source
The Aretusa Source is one of the wonders of Ortigia, in Siracusa. It is linked to the myth of Arethusa and Alpheus. It is a freshwater spring, emerging from a cave very close to the sea, with fish, ducks, geese and where the plants of the only natural Papyrus in Europe grow so well.
