Hi my name is Jayron Haley. You are going to learn about Dian Fossey. Dian Fossey was an American primatologist and conservationist known for under taking an extensive study of mountain gorilla groups from 1966 until her death, in 1985.

Childhood
Dian was born January 16, 1932, in San Fransico, California. Her parents got devorced at a very young age. So she grew up with a mom and a step father. By all acounts, she was a exellent student and was extremly interested into animals from a very young age.
Who was Dian Fossey
While she was working as an occuptional therapist, Dian became interested in primates during trip to africa in 1963.She studied the endangered gorillas of the Rwandan mountain forest, for two decades before her unsolved murder case accoured in 1985, at Volcanos natinal park in Rewandan. Fossey told her story's in a book, Gorillas in the mist (1983), which later was adapted for a film starring sigourny weather
What was going on in her life
When Dian enrolled in college courses at main Jr college , she chose to focus on buisness , following the encouragement of her stepfather.A wealthy buisnessman. she worked while in school, and at age 19.On the summer brake following her freshman year of college.She went to a ranch, she fell in love with a developed attachment to the animals, but she was forced to leave early because she got chicken pox.
