Bill and Ben are on a building adventure. They follow the design process and build a model of a go-cart using LEGO bricks. But their model cart needs some more work.  

Bill and Ben's Go-Cart

They started working on their design. Bill and Ben had many different ideas.

"Yikes," both yelled. "We forgot to put in a steering wheel to turn the wheels", both said. "What can we do now?" said Bill. "Let's design a steering wheel system," said Ben.

Bill and Ben thought about their idea for a long time. They were looking for some good design ideas. 

The wheels went on next. They looked thrilled. "Bill, I can not wait to get on this. I am very excited. Can I please go first?" said Ben. "All right, you can go on first. I will go second," said Bill. "Thank you, Bill. You are so kind", said Ben.

Bill and Ben were bored. They wanted to do something that was fun and interesting. "How about we build a go-cart", said Bill. "Go-cart...hmmm...sounds cool. But where will we get the materials from? said Ben.

Ben was enjoying the ride. But all he could say was, "yippee...yippee...". And suddenly, the go-cart stopped.

Once Bill and Ben were happy with their design idea, they got the materials. "We need four wheels", said Bill. "And we need these blocks for the chassis and the seat", suggested Ben.

Ben got into the driver's seat. Bill pushed the go-cart as hard as he could.

Can you help Bill and Ben design and build a steering for their go-cart?

They first made the chassis. "I hope it is strong enough to support the driver's weight", said Bill. "Don't worry, Bill. I am sure it will be fine," said Ben.

They looked around for materials. Finally, they found some. "I think we can build our go-cart with this", said Bill. "I agree. The materials do look very strong", said Ben.

Bill and Ben were very happy. They had a good design idea. They also had all the materials they needed. Bill and Ben were now ready to build their go-cart.
