Fiji is a country in the Pacific Ocean. It is made up of more than 300 islands. Viti Levu and Vanua Levu are two of the largest islands.

Visitors from overseas come to Fiji on planes. Nelson arrived by plane which landed at the Nadi International Airport. He travelled between the islands on boats.
To buy things on his trip, Nelson used Fijian money that was made up of notes and coins. There were two, five, ten, twenty and fifty dollar notes. There were one and two dollar coins. Sometimes he also used one, two, five, ten, twenty and fifty cent coins.
Nelson met many Fijians and Indians on his trip.
