A Day at the Zoo

Can you see the Parrot in the tree? Look at all the beautiful colours on it's feathers.

You guessed it! It is a Giant Panda. Can you see it's black and white fur?

That is right, it is an Orangutan. They are part of the ape family and live in the forest. 

These animals are pink birds that have long legs. Can you guess what they are called? They are Flamingos.

Have you seen this type of tree before? Sadly, people have graffitied on it, but it is called Bamboo. Do you know what animals like to eat Bamboo?

Who is that swimming? That's right, it is an Otter. Otter's hold their breath under water and come up to breath.

Look at that, what great art ideas! Maybe you could make some art work using your hands. 

Who is in a cage? That is correct, it is a Lion. Can you think why animals are put in cages at the Zoo?

Who is that big creature? It is a Komodo Dragon. Did you know that they are the world's largest living Lizard.

Look, another animal. The Zoo keeper is taking an animal out for a walk.

Who is that large animal? That's right, it is an elephant. Look at his long truck.

What a great day! What was your favourite animal at the Zoo today?

Hey! Who is that walking through the Zoo? A Peacock that's right.

Take a look at that sign. It is all about compost. Maybe you could have a go at making some compost.

Can you see the big cat? This animal is a Bengal Tiger. Can you see all of the stripes on it's back?

Here is a turtle. Have you ever seen a turtle like this before?

Look an animal statue! Do you know what animal it is? That is right, it is an Ape.
