I thought that the ice cubes with the cotton wool would stay solid for longer and the ice cube surrounded but the tinfoil would melt the quickest.
I thought that the ice cubes with the bubble wrap around the plastic cup would melt the ice cubes the fastest.
Equipment used:
Three plastic cups
Three thermometer's
Bubble wrap
Cotton wool
Crepe paper
Ice cubes
Sellotape
Steps involved in the experiment
1.Gather all equipment.
2. Wrap bubble wrap, crepe paper and cotton wool on the outside of the plastic cups and secure it with Sellotape.
3. Add three ice cubes to each cup.
4. Add a thermometer to each cup.
5.Take the temperature of each cup.
6.Set a timer and record the temperature after every minute.
