Who is most likely to become a victim and a murderer?
What is the true meaning of the word "homicide"? Well, its actually just the same as the word "Murder". You see homicide mean "the deliberate and unlawful killing of one person by another; murder." while murder means "a person who commits murder; a killer." so, it basically means the same thing just said differently in a another person perspective. But, lets talk about homicide for a second. Did you know 400,000 people die from homicide each year? Well, out of more then 7 billion people on this planet that doesn't seem like a lot but just think about those families thats children or close ones were killed by someone else's action on purpose. So, to those family just there close ones are enough alone. Now even if someone you know wasn't killed but was a victim or witnessed a crime they can develop trauma. Trauma in meaning "a deeply distressing or disturbing experience." Trauma can affect ones beliefs about the future via loss of hope. Teen and young adults are most likely victims of violent crimes ages 18-2. Blacks in thar age group were the most vulnerable and women are most frequently the victims.
