What is the true meaning of the word "homicide"? Well, its actually just the same as the word "Murder". You see homicide mean "the deliberate and unlawful killing of one person by another; murder." while murder means "a person who commits murder; a killer." so, it basically means the same thing just said differently in a another person perspective. But, lets talk about homicide for a second. Did you know 400,000 people die from homicide each year? Well, out of more then 7 billion people on this planet that doesn't seem like a lot but just think about those families thats children or close ones were killed by someone else's action on purpose. So, to those family just there close ones are enough alone. Now even if someone you know wasn't killed but was a victim or witnessed a crime they can develop trauma. Trauma in meaning "a deeply distressing or disturbing experience." Trauma can affect ones beliefs about the future via loss of hope. Teen and young adults are most likely victims of violent crimes ages 18-2. Blacks in thar age group were the most vulnerable and women are most frequently the victims.

When you hear the sentence “serious public health issues” what first comes to your mind?
When you hear the sentence “serious public health issues” what's the first thing comes to your mind? Well, you might have guessed maybe pollution or related harms or maybe cancer or some health issues or maybe gun violence. While gun violence is a major public health problem and a leading cause of premature death this brings me to my main idea. The main idea of my article is murder and violent crimes are serious public health issues. The purpose of this article was to persuade the reader.
Murder is the most vivious crime as well as the most serious. Also, with claiming lives of almost half a million people with the global average of intentional homicide rate of 6.2 per 100,000 population in 2012 alone. Now we're taking a look at the Canter and Almond issue. While reviewing the literature on arson and its strategies indicated that fire was used to cover up crimes and there was a general indication that was further supported by Tumor, reporting 13 cases of probable postmortem burning of bodies to cover homicidal actions. Also,  Tumor interestingly also cited burying, burning and throwing corpses into water as means to cover up evidence of criminal actions. Rivers, lakes, manholes and large drains are common places where murder victims are recovered. The acts of choice being dumping (12.7%) and post-mortem burning (8.4%). It is significant to note that even the act of disposing of evidence of a crime of murder like destroying the dead body of the victim or other form of related evidence is a crime under the law, punishable with mandatory imprisonment up to 7 years and a fine. Finally there are 78% of male victims and 22% of female victims but no matter what gender you are, you can at any time become a victim. Stay safe!

Whitechapel Murders
How many people become a victim of murder everyday?
Does the situation affects the victim in the future if they survive?
Who is most likely to become a victim and a murderer?
Who is Jack the Ripper?
Background information
The whitechapel murders are believed to be done by “Jack the Ripper” but no one knows who that is. Jack the Ripper has killed many people and some of them have things in common. For example victime #1, Mary Ann Nichols body found August 31, 1888. Victim #2 Annie Chapman, body was found september 8th. Victim #3 Elizabeth and victim 4 Catherine Eddowes were found the same day september 30th. Victim 5 Mary Jane Kelly was found november 9th. But this thing is all of them were prostitutes, 4 were killed while soliciting people on the street and we believe the murder was done by one person and all of their throats were cut open.

There were also six other killings. This includes, Emma smith, was attacked April 3, 1888, Martha Tabram, discovered on August 7th, Rose Mylett, Alice Mckenzie, an unidentified woman, and Frances Coles - were killed between December 1888 and February 1891 and all of these people that were killed were all females which 22% are which is 56% less then male victims. Also, half of a human kidney was mailed to the police.

Whitechapel Murders
The purpose of this article was to inform readers about the whitechapel case and get their minds thinking about the possible solutions for the cases. The author also is telling us facts and is informing us about what happens in murder cases. I know this because the author was providing us with facts about the cases but leaving the solutions unsolved. Also, this is an informational piece that is also teaching us more about murder cases. The readers were told who the victims were, when their bodies were found and how they believe they died. But, they were unable to tell us their methods of evidence mostly from the lack of evidence as well as the limited investigative techniques of the time. Also, methods for analyzing physical evidence were not yet available at all in 1888. Finally, The police were getting nowhere so citizens took matters into their own hands. Yet they were never able to catch the killer. This helps me write my article because the author included direct information by the individuals that were interviewed in this article. The individuals only told us about the victims which let police connect the dots that made us believe that 4 people were killed while soliciting people on the street. This relates to the main idea because details like this helped us get a bigger idea of what actually happened and connect the dots.
