Dorothy lives with her Aunt Em and her Uncle Henry.

One Day a storm is coming and Dorothy hides in the house with her dog Toto.

It is very windy.

The house flies up into the sky and falls on the Bad Witch of East.

Dorothy wears the shoes of the Bad Witch of East and meets the Good Witch of North.

Dorothy wants to go home and the Good Witch of North tells her to look for the Wizard of Oz.

Dorothy follows the yellow brick road and meets 3 new friends:
A Scarecrow, a Tin Man, and a Lion.

The scarecrow wants to be smart, the Tin Man wants to have feelings, and the Lion wants to be brave.

They walk down the yellow brick road and see the City of Oz.

The Wizard of Oz tells Dorothy "Kill the bad Witch of the West. Then you can go home."

Dorothy and her friends go to the castle of the Bad Witch of the West.

The witch puts Dorothy's friends into a room and closes the door.

They can't leave. The witch wants Dorothy's shoes, but kills the witch. 

Dorothy and her friends go to the city of Oz again.

The Wizard gives a brain to the Scarecrow, a heart to the Tin Man and courage to the Lion.

The wizard says he can take Dorothy home, but she stays to look for her dog Toto.

She asks "How can we go home now?" She and her friends go to the castle of the Good Witch of the South.

The witch says "Click your shoes three times. Then you can go home". Dorothy clicks her shoes one… two… three times and says: "Goodbye, my friends!".

She arrives back at the farm with Toto and the family is very happy.
