And then, Madelaine saw the corpse of her dear friend, Alayana, lyed on the floor , face down on the ground, her arms stretched out and her beautiful blond shining hair through the dark. There wasn’t any blood. Madelaine was staring at her. It shocked her greatly . She knew something bad was going to happen ,but she wasn’t expecting something so awful. Madelaine was cheerful. Indeed, she waited for this moment for months : her wedding, the most beautiful day of her life . She was in the car , holding the hand of her new husband , Adam . They were driving through the Ashford countryside, under a rainy weather . After a long moment alone on the road , they finally saw the huge black gate of the domain rent for the reception .They drave through a long and sinuous path as for as the castle . The old manar was heavy and creepy .The stones of the walls weathered ans cracked. Iry was invading these walls. The mansion was dived into the fog , and the sky was becoming darker and darker. A storm was surely about to happen. They entered inside the manor, a cold gust of wind blow through them. The reception room was spacious, the wooden floor cracked under their feet. A crimson tapestry was covering the walls. A massive chandelier adorned with candles dominated the room.
The cursed Wedding of Ashford
There were baroque ornaments everywhere and on the stairs. Then, the guests started to arrive. Their first impression was similar , they felt something bad. During the party, they discovered that the food was moldy and same worms were in it.They all becoming to get ill. Madelaine was worried for her friend , Alayana who wanted to the bathroom because she felt sick ,and she didn’t come back , but she would come soon. The guests were complaining about the temperature of the room , indeed itw as getting colder and colder. There were even vident gusts of wind , which lifted the thick curtains of the place and spilled the dishes from the tables . The background music which was elegant and calm changed abruptly and became sinister and sad, without anyone changing manually. Everybody was agitated by these events , so in order to relax the atmosphere , Adam decided to open the ball. Everyone watched with admiration the bride and the groom waltzing in the middle of the room. Madelaine was tenderly looking at her husband, forgetting everyone around
them. Suddently, the lights and the music went out leaving a deafening silence, broken by a shrill shriek. Madelaine immediatly reconized the voice of her friend Alayana , and had an anxiety attack. Consequently, the bride and everyone else started to search for Alayana, all around the castle.

Madelaine went to the bathroom because she known that Alayana was sick. However, she wasn’t here. She ran though the corridors when she saw an old book on the floor next to a mirror, in the edge of the hallway. She took it, ans started leafing through the book. It was about the history of the mansion. She stopped herself in front of the pictures of the members of the original family of the manor. Then, she saw a woman , surely blond (the pictures were in black and white). She looked strangely like Alayana. Under the photo, was annotated : «Lady Marie Henvenson, 1856-1878, tragically dead duing her wedding day ». There was also a picture of her, in a beautiful wedding dress, on the balcony. She looked in the mirror, and she saw a misty female figure, under the full moon, entering a room, where there was a balcony. She dropped the book from her hands, and followed fastly the shadow, to the chamber. The window was wide open so she approached the balcony and leant ever it. The cursed Wedding of Ashford
"And then, Madelaine saw the corpse of her dear friend, Alayana, lyed on the floor, face down on the ground, her arms stretched out and her beautiful blond shining hair through the dark. There wasn’t any blood.

Cela l'a beaucoup bouleversé.
