This book was prepared by YÖM Schools, which cares about the April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day, which Atatürk has given to children all over the world.

The book consists of 40 children letters from Turkey, India, and Italy to show the unity of the children from all over the world in this special day. The letters belong to the children from 4th grader students of YÖM Schools, 1st grader students of TGES, 3rd and 4th grader students of Istituto Comprensivo Murari Valeggio sul Mincio.

With this preface, we would like to thank to the children themselves and their English teachers from Italy (Dear Maddalena Ruffino from Istituto Comprensivo Murari Valeggio sul Mincio), India(Dear Jyoti Bagadia from TGES) and Turkey(Dear Çağıl Ataç, Gülşah Kaya, Azar Shrani, Sibel Tanrıverdi Canbaz and the head of the department, Ayşe Saday from YÖM Schools) to become a very strong bridge between the children to give them a chance to reach one another.

Dear all children in Italy and India,
Hi there! And hi here. And hi to all children from here. My name is Selin and I like to draw and write and read. I wrote this letter on 6th of April, but you’re going to read it on 23th of April. Emm, but what is April 23? It is our celebration day of course, but it has a meaning. On 23rd of April, our founder and president Mustafa Kemal Atatürk established Grand National Assembly Of Turkey. Then he gave this celebration to us. It’s not only Turkish children’s day, it is all children’s day. We have to be together, so we can be in peace. Now, let’s be friends and become a sharer. Open your eyes and see the friendship. Maybe we can’t get together, but we can write a letter from a child to another! Can we do? Yes, we can. When we come together, we can do many things.
We want ‘’PEACE FOR ALL CHILDREN!’’.
Ok. I will start the letter friendship project. Hey Diego (from Italy)! Can we be friends? Here are some questions for you: Do you have a pet? Do you have a sister or brother? Do you like to draw?
This is my gmail: ogr_selina@yenilkciogrenme.k12.tr
If you wanna send me an e-mail, you can send now!
See you soon!

April 4th 2021
Dear Indian and Italian Children,
How are you? I Hope you are good. I want to share some information with you  about 23rd of april and why it is important for us. Because long time ago Mustafa Kemal Atatürk dedicated 23rd of April to us, the children and the name of the day is Children’s Day. Now I want to ask some questions: Which day is important for you in your country? Why? Maybe one day we can come together and share our ideas face to face. Maybe when you come to our country, we can teach you to play our games, then we can play. We play some realy fun games and dance. That was all I wanted to share.
See you soon :)

Hi boys and girls from Turkey and India,

I’m Leonardo and I live in Valeggio with my family. Today I want to tell you something. First, I hope you are okay. Then, I want to tell you about the children's day. International Children's Day is the day when all the world remembers the children’s rights, because children are very important. Actually, a lot of children are deprived of their rights. It’s very important that people respect children because children are the future of the world.
Bye from Italy,
Leonardo
