This is a story about Alexandra, aka Alex, a typical girl from Croatia. She loves animals and leads a simple life. She is a straight - A student and really hardworking.
One day, she receives an offer to study at a British school, and despite not knowing what to expect, she decides to take the opportunity.

On the day of her departure, Alexandra packed her bags and headed to the airport. She was only 16 and moving to a foreign country all by herself. The journey was quite long and tiring.

When she arrived to the airport, Alexandra noticed a beautiful girl holding a sign that read, "Welcome home, Alexandra!". Excitedly, Alexandra greeted the girl, but she didn't respond and simply brushed her off.
Without even introducing herself, the girl went straight to her room once they arrived at Alexandra's new home. A couple welcomed Alexandra and explained that the girl's name was Jessica and that she was always like that. Feeling uneasy, Alexandra started to regret her decision to move abroad.

On the first day of school, Alexandra woke up feeling sad and tired. Shortly after, the lady knocked on her door and brought her breakfast in bed. Alexandra was surprised and confused, but the lady explained that it was breakfast for her. She couldn't believe that the lady brought her breakfast in bed, which was an odd experience for her. After eating breakfast, Alexandra went to school with Jessica.
