Welcome to the Icefjord Centre. The Icefjord Centre is a house holding many stories of ice and life with the ice. The Centre is located at Ilulissat in Greenland.

Humans on the planet Earth by their way of living affect the climate and cause changes. This is called climate changes. One of the effects is that the temperature all over the globe is rising. When temperature rises, the ice will melt faster. The ice is getting thinner, and you can not trust the ice to hold. Life around the Icefjord must adjust to the changing ice.

On short trips the dogs are full of pranks and mischief, but it is wise to listen to them! Because when there is a risk of the ice not bearing, they sense it and warn the sledge driver. But how do they know?

Now you must imagine driving from Ilulissat to the hunting cabin at Aattartoq, about 40 km away. The cabin is marked with a red circle. You must assemble you own dog team that will take you there and back again sound and safe. Here is a picture of a dog team.
