My name is Noah. I am nothing compared to the Noah they talk about in the bible, who was the hero of a biblical flood. People mistreat me everyday and I go home and cry in my room, questioning if it's worth living or not. The only day I REALLY show appreciation for is Friday because I get a break from the non-stop bullies. But there's probably one reason why they bully me, and you don't need to be Einstein to figure out why. Well, I'm just not that good looking. My classmates call me unattractive, ill-favored, nasty, and even threatening. And you know what? All those might be true, but I try my best to
ignore people like that.

My mom always reminds me that no matter how tough times may get, she will love and appreciate me until the day she dies. I never really got to know my dad, he passed away when I was 4. He was suffering from pancreatic cancer, and depressingly he couldn't beat it. When I was 8, she told me this. I Now, at this time my 8 year-old brain didn't even know what pancreatic cancer was. But now I'm 11 and in middle school. I'm smart and I have straight A's, but I lack two things. Strength, being one, and the most important one. Beauty.

Yeah, it's pretty simple. I lack beauty. And I get criticized for it. Every. Single. Day( except Saturday and Sunday). I wish I wasn't so ugly, I wish I was beautiful, attractive. I wish there was a piece of technology where if you were ugly, it could make you beautiful. But that type of stuff only happens in movies, books. Or so I thought.

I made my way to school. It was Friday, so I had high hopes. I mean, who DOESN'T like Fridays? Honestly, in my opinion, if you don't like Fridays, I SERIOUSLY think there's something wrong with you. Nevermind that, forget I said anything. Anywho, I'm pretty satisfied with being a Walker. The walk from my house is long, but it's worth it in my opinion. If I rode the bus, I think I'd start to have NIGHTMARES. I rode it in 5th grade, and it was a madhouse.

Trust me, you DON'T wanna know. But I guess I must've turned into Sonic, because I was the first one there. Then some kids started to arrive. Almost EVERYBODY in my class teases me, so whenever I see somebody in my class, I blend in the crowd. Today I got lucky, and thankfully nobody recognized me.
As I was making my way to first mod, I saw something shiny and metal. I decided to pick it up, and it only had one button on it. " Strange", I thought. " Wonder what it does"? Being the curious person that I am, I took my chances and pressed the button. As soon as I pressed it, a surge of power went through me. I didn't exactly know what it was at the time, and I was in a state of confusion. It took me a while to recover and get my thoughts back, but after I felt OK. I knew something wasn't right, though, so I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. What I saw next took me completely aback.
When I looked in the mirror, I was shocked. I was probably more shocked than a bolt of lighting. I was "drippy", whatever everybody says these days. I was "trendy". But all those things might've been true. I had a Lakers hat on ( which is legal to wear at our school), a Fortnite shirt, and jeans. I still rocked the same shoes, but I had Jordan's, which pretty much matched with my outfit. I realized that I was late to class, and scooped up my backpack and headed towards my first class of the day. And boy, was I ready.
