The Lunch Thief

Last Friday, I had a big party at school.
You could bring in a treat. Mam packed a delicious doughnut. I asked for a peek but Mum said no.

At home time mam was waiting for me at the back of the gate .

When I got out of the car, my mam said "Enjoy your treat". I saw my friend and we walked in together. I was counting down the boring hours... then 321 ...DING! I took out my lunch box ...
And it wasn't there.

I looked over at my friend ... and she had my treat.

I was as angry as a lion.
My veins were bursting out of my face.

I WAS so angry that I pounced over at her.

We were sent to the principal and we got a note for our parents.

At home time mam was waiting for me at the back of the gate .

My Mam was very angry with me.

When we got into the car. I gave my mam my note and explained it wasn't my fault my mam said I Ieft my treat on the car seat.

😪😡

I was so sad and I knew I would have to tell my friend I was so sorry.

But she knew that I was very sad.

When we got home I ran to my room.

I should have been more calm I said to myself.

After a while, my mam came into my room.

I should have been nicer to my friend.

And talked to her the same way my mam was taking to me.
