Selena's Book Together for a day

I learned about a lot of animals my favorite animal was the shark. He has lots of teeth and eats lots of fish from the ocean. Sharks are carnivores and can grow very big.

My name is Selena, I am going into 3rd grade. My favorite food is tacos and my favorite animals are kittens and sharks. I love to play the piano and paint in my free time. My favorite subject is Math.

Tips for Parents: Some fun and helpful tips to assist in the continuous process of learning are going to the public library, searching for informational articles that may catch Selena's attention, spending the day together and reading her favorite books. National Geographic kids has many informational and interesting articles for kids.&nbsp; National Geographic has many topics to choose from and are super kid friendly which makes them want to learn more about it. Storynory is another great website for kids to learn.&nbsp; Storynory is a website with many literature ideas from fairytales to even poems, this website provides the readings and a little review of each.&nbsp; Free children's stories have many options to read.&nbsp; Free children stories is a website where you can locate whatever book you like based on the age or grade level of the child, they have a variety of genres to choose from. Lastly, some books I noticed Selena and even Patrick might like would be fiction stories. We read a novel during the time and Selena loved it from start to finish. I highly recommend the Judy moody novels because they are kid friendly and very entertaining for their age

TOGETHER FOR A DAY By: Selena Alzugaray

Once there was a big bad black out and it was a hurricane and at the beginning of the hurricane a lot of things started to fall and break so then Judy and Stink thought there was a big alien invasion or a bionic squirrel or a spaceship to take off or land on the roof, but it was actually Judy's tent that was up in the roof because of the hurricane. Grandma Lou then came over to stay over because where grandma Lou lives was really flooded and it was raining cats and dogs. Grandma Lou came to stay and she brought a visitor name Gertued, Stink thought it was grandma Lou evil twin sister but it was her boat named gert and gert was short for Gertued that had passed a few weeks. Judy and stink got bored grandma Lou told them to play but Judy didn't know what to do, grandma told them to play a game she would play when she was Judy's age, grandma took out a bunch of board games and made smores for the entire family. They all sat around the fire and tell stories, grandma Lou decided to take a nap and stink and Judy pranked grandma in thinking there was a ghost. After the hurricane Grandma Lou, stink and Judy took Gertued to the backyard and pretended it was a lake because of so much rain. They saw Judy's ball and Stink shoes in the back yard. when grandma Lou was leaving home she promised Judy and stink to have weekend blackouts to spend time together.
