Horrid Henry Delivers a Birthday Cake

In the kitchen, Henry's mum was busy baking a lovely birthday cake for Margaret. Very happily baking the cake, she didn't even know that Henry was staring at her. Just then, Henry popped up an evil idea to deliver the cake to Margaret's house by himself so that he could throw the cake onto Margaret's face. Cunningly as a fox, Henry was certainly sure that his plan was great and cool. As quick as a flash, Henry grabbed the cake on the table and ran off very quickly headed to Margaret's house.

As soon as he arrived at Margaret's house, he called Margaret to come out for her cake. With the blink of an eye, when Margaret opened the door Henry quickly threw the cake onto her face. Obviously angry, Margaret rapidly grabbed the cake and threw back onto Henry's face. Again, Henry threw the cake back at Margaret's face. Really angrily, Margaret's mum didn't like it, she took a giant handful of cake and threw it back at Henry. Soon, the whole house was covered in cake.

Soon after, Henry's mum got to Margaret's house, she shouted "What have you done Henry?" Extremely angry, she commanded Henry to clean up Margaret's house. "Come on Henry!" "Do it right now!" she strongly commanded her son with a frown on her face.

In the living room of Margaret's house, Henry quickly and quietly cleaned up the room and all the mess. After a while, the room was clear and clean by a cheeky, naughty Horrid Henry.

With a smile on her face, Henry's mum slowly walked to Henry and said "Well done Henry!" Unexpectedly, Henry sadly said sorry to his kind, thoughtful mum. With love and understanding, Henry's mum forgave him for his fault but she asked him to think about Margaret's mum and Margaret's feeling. "What should you say to them now?", said mum. Really understandably, Henry suddenly said sorry to Margaret and her mum.
