This small town is located in Dalmatia, about 60 km south of the city of Split. Makarska is located on a horseshoe-shaped bay, under the spectacular Biokovo mountain. It is perfectly developed around a natural harbor shielded by the peninsula of St. Peter.

Makarska Riva is something extraordinary, so we warmly recommend you take a walk around the waterfront every time you visit Makarska.  No matter summer or winter, the promenade near the sea offers a beautiful view of the sea and a morning coffee with a sea view is the best thing ever.

Osejava Beach is located in the southeast of Makarska, behind the breakwater. It is one of the approaches to the peninsula, which is also called Osejava. The peninsula is also the largest city park where you can relax among pine trees, near the crystal blue sea. Here people tend to enjoy a picnic on the weekends, running, and cycling. The park itself is riddled with many small and large tracks. Osejava Beach is the smallest beach in Makarska.
