Our classes will always start on Google Meet.

1. Go to Classlink

2. Find the Google Classroom app.

3. Find my class.

4. Click the "Meet Link" in the header of the class page.
To make sure everyone feels included and comfortable during class meetings, I have a few requests:

1. I want to see your lovely faces! Please keep your camera on until I tell you to turn it off.

2. Wear school-appropriate clothing to our live meetings.

3. Enter the live meetings with your mic muted to reduce background noise. Keep yourself muted until instructed to unmute.
Here's what you can expect from me this year:
We will meet 3 days a week on Google Classroom, but I will be available from before school on Tuesday/Wednesday and after school on Thursday/Friday if you have questions or want to talk about your work.
I will answer all emails, phone calls, and Google Classroom messages within 24 hours. If you have an urgent concern, please message me during office hours and I'll respond right away.
Your success is my success. I will do whatever it takes to help you succeed. But I also promise not to overwhelm you with messages, assignments, reminders, etc.
I suggest you try to set up your at-home "school" space like this:
Suggested Desk setup: Computer, plugged in or fully charged. Notebook, agenda, and closed drink container.
drink container with lid
computer, plugged in if possible
paper and pencil for notes
Agenda to write down due dates
One more thing . . .

If you are feeling anxious, depressed, scared, or worried during this time, it's going to be okay. Your feelings matter and I can help you find someone to talk to about them.

If you are dealing with prolonged hunger, physical abuse, or bullying, I want to help. You won't get in trouble and no one else needs to know.

I am here for you.
