The aim of this book is to guide you through some basics to help you make an informed decision about your future career. We also provide additional career information and resources for you to explore.

Mr A. Rayleigh

This is my 9th Year teaching maths at Alperton Community School and I am currently the Head of Careers. I feel very passionate about careers and truly believe that every young person should have the most effective career guidance to meet their individual requirements.

I am a highly motivated Careers Adviser, passionate about helping young people flourish and reach their full potential. I am keen to use my experience to enable students to see their ability within themselves and show them how to achieve their goals.

Careers Options

Contains presentations about the platform and lists the benefits for both staff and students.

Lists a number of different sites that students can choose from regarding the different options that they have when they leave ACS.

UCAS information

Electronic resources

This tab provides information regarding UCAS deadlines, reviews and the application process, for students intending to apply to university.

There are over a dozen digital booklets and magazine guides aimed specifically at parents to engage with and explore opportunities and information with their own child.

ACS Careers Plan

Careers Talks

ACS careers plan contains the latest careers programme for every year group.

A collection of presentations delivered directly from employers who have come in to the school and given a careers talk to students.

Information for parents and employers

There is a tab for parents which has various links to guides and resources that can be downloaded and a tab for employers if they would like to work with our students and the school.
