About our school

Our school was founded in 1957.

Currently the school has 376 students and 49 teachers.

It is located on the north side of the Marjan forest park.

Location

We are VT school and have two programs: sales assistants and commercial clerks (which is more popular).

Subjects

BASE SUBJECTS: Croatian, English, Math, Italian, Physical education, Ethics, Religion, Psychology, Accounting, Politics.

VOCATIONAL SUBJECTS: Vocational exercises, Business communications, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Foreign trade techniques, Transport and insurance.

Work experience

We have to do internships, but we can choose where we want to work.

We have to do 80 hours of work per year, each year.

We don't have to pay to get an internship, but we also don't get paid for it.

If the employer likes us there is a chance that we can get hired.

We do our work individually and if we are absent, we have to make up for the hours we missed.

Classes

We have school from Monday to Friday.

We have from 5 to 7 classes everday.

Our classes are in different shifts, one week in the morning and the other in the afternoon.

We have 2 weeks of break during winter, 1 week during spring, 1 week during autumn and 2 and a half months during summer.

Graduation

After finishing our school we get a high school degree.

We have plenty of college options.

In case we decide not to go to college, it's easy to find a job.
