Reason For Founding

The Southern Colonies were founded for Catholic freedom in Maryland and to make money. Georgia was founded to block the Spanish Florida from attacking the Carolinas.

Geography

The Southern Colonies geography has hot steamy Summers, mild Winters, mosquitoes, the ocean, many lakes, lumber, trees, fish, and it’s very good for farming. Especially tobacco.

Economy

In the Southern Colonies it’s so easy to make money there’s so many options. Like growing tobacco, corn, wheat, fruit trees, cotton, rice, farming cattle, and farming indigo. You can also sell lumber, ship goods, fish, selling and buying slaves, and trading with Indians.

The Southern Colonies Has Great Opportunities For Debt Payers In Georgia.

In Georgia people who couldn’t pay debts of in England could go to Georgia and pay of their debts there. It was a big problem because in England people who couldn’t pay of their debts would be sent to prison so they couldn’t pay their debts at all.

Comparing Colonies

The New England colonies are crazy and think they need to purify The Church Of England because England is doing it wrong. They also have to deal with very deep snow while they could just move down south to the Southern Colonies.

The Middle colonies may have nice cities but they are mostly Quakers who are pacifists. The Middle Colonies also have cold Winters.
