Friday 21st April Friday was our last day. We went to school; we painted pebbles and few Czech students prepared an ending ceremony. They had prepared a presentation about the project week and they added some funny pictures of us. Then we had lunch and had to say goodbye. I would lie if I said that any tear hadn’t dropped from my eye. I thought I would be happy to have some time for myself but in the end I got to know Slovenians better and honestly I wouldn’t be upset if they stayed one more week. : )&nbsp;&nbsp;

Wednesday 19th April First of all, we split into two groups. Each of them had different activities. One of them was Art where we made a mindmap based on the book about Percy Jackson. That’s why we needed to find an  important action in the book. On Monday we wrote down the most important scenes from the book so that it would be easier to choose one. When we chose one we either started doing our sketches on a sheet of paper or started to separate the egg white from the egg yolk for the egg tempera (egg tempera is an old painting technique that has been used for centuries). Afterwards we chose a smaller or a larger paper circle to paint in. We prepared the acrylic paints we wanted to use and the separated egg yolk. Then we started to paint. The egg needs to be mixed with the egg yolk because it makes the colour more shiny and bright and that’s how&nbsp; the egg tempera works. When the paintings were dry we could make a big mindmap with them.&nbsp; The other activity was drama workshop with the drama teacher David that has a lot of experience with acting. At the begining we did some warm ups, for example we all stood in a circle and David gave us some fun exercises to do. Afterwards he told us to split into groups of four and our task was to act like a wedding and a forest imagination picture. In the same groups we also created a scene where we were cooking and David gave us some dialogues to act . After that he told us to walk in a circle and gave us characters from the book and we needed to pretend how they would walk. Then he made us do a Percy Jackson scene where we at first needed to mime it, secondly with some sounds and finally with words. It was an amazing experience everyone enjoyed!&nbsp;

Thursday&nbsp; We visited a beautiful town called Telč. Czech students went by train and Slovenian pupils travelled by&nbsp; bus. We all met together at the train station in Telč and started exploring the town, for example we visited the Telč underground or the library of Masaryk university in the former Jesuit college. Then we went for luch, most of us had pizza which was so delicious and then we continued our journey back home.&nbsp; After we arrived back to Jihlava we had a rest at home and then prepared for a barbeque party at Lucka’s place. We had a campfire and ate some tasty food roasted on fire, for example sausages, corn, apples or even marshmallows with chocolate which are my favourite. We also played table tennis, football or shot arrows from a bow. We also sang songs with guitar and just really enjoyed the evening. It was an interesting evening full of fun and I think we should do these barbeque parties more even though we don’t have our Slovenian friends here anymore.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;

Monday 17th April Monday was our first day. We explored Jihlava with our Slovenian friends in the morning.&nbsp; Our Czech teachers prepared a game for us so it was an interesting way how to learn something new about our town. Only the weather wasn’t that good that morning. It was cloudy but fortunately it didn’t rain. Then we had lunch and went to school. We had to write a poem about one character from the book Percy Jackson. Our second task was to write down twenty important moments from the book. This was the end of the school and then many of us went to Jihlava ZOO. Fun fact about our trip to zoo was that Slovenians were excited about capibaras the most. I still don’t know why they find that&nbsp; animals so interesting. In the evening we went to the local shopping centre called City Park. Slovenians bought some drinks from Starbucks and then we went home. It was a nice day.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Tuesday 18th April We went to Prague on Tuesday. We travelled by two buses, there were Czechs in the first one and Slovenians in the second one. We left the buses close to Straka’s academy on the Lesser town side of&nbsp; the Vltava river. We went to the other side of the river and met our guide under the Old town gate of Charles bridge. We played a quiz game about information connected with the Charles bridge and history of Prague. Then we went to McDonald’s for lunch and we went to Prague castle after that. There was a plan to show The Old town square too, but we didn’t have enough time. We visited the St. Vitus cathedral and had a short break on the second forecourt of the Prague castle, where we had prepared some information speeches about interesting places in Prague. Then we went to gardens of the Prague castle and visited Belveder (Queen Anne’s Summer Palace) with the singing fountain, but it wasn’t singing because there wasn’t water in it. After all we went to our buses and went straight back to Jihlava. We went home after our return, because everyone was very tired. The day was very funny, we had learned much information about Prague and had much fun with our new friends from Slovenia.&nbsp;
