He was a Czech monarch and a saint. He was wise and kind so he didn´t fight that much.
He was murdered by his own brother and after that he was declared a saint. Now we have
a square in Prague named after him and there is a statue of him on a horse.

Svatá Anežka Přemyslovna
Saint Agnes of Bohemia

Anežka Přemyslovna, 
is known mainly
for her charity work.
She and her brother
together founded
a hospital of St Francis
in year 1232.
They also built
a monastery Na Františku
in year 1234. 
Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk 
1850–1937

T. G. Masaryk is probably
the most important person for the Czech Republic, because he stood behind
the founding
of Czechoslovakia after World War I. and thus became a president
of the newly formed state. He was a president until 1935 when he resigned.

He was a playwright. 
He was the last president
of Czechoslovakia and the first president of independent
Czech Republic. 
He became world famous
for his drama with a theme
of absurd theater. 
Karel IV.

Petr Parléř
1332/33–1399 
He was a gothic architect
and a builder. He was one
of the architects of the st Vít temple. He also participated
in the building of many other Czech monuments, for example, he participated in the building
of Charles bridge. 
Jan Hus
1370–1415

He was a Czech theologian
and a philosopher. 
He did not like the practices
of the church, so he criticized it
in his sermons. 
The church did not like his sermons and called him a heretic, but Hus did not give up his persuasion
and was burned.
