Central Africa has 184,969,000 million people but it is not one of the most populated areas in Africa, since most of the African population is concentrated on the coast of Morocco and Algeria and on the coast of the Gulf of Guinea.

Although it´s also very rich in resources, Africa is the poorest continent. Economic activities are often not focured on meeting the needs of the local population but on producting goods for exports. 2. ACCOMMODATION AND DISPLACEMENT

We will be able to stay at the Hotel Les Béatitudes (hotel located in Kinshasa). Staying in a standard room will cost us €70 a day per person, that is, €490 a week per person and two people €980 a week. We also have another option of better quality but more expensive, it is located 2 km from the center of Kinshasa. The price would be €1,059 (2 people) with breakfast and lunch included.

Central Africa, is an area where the Congo River and its tributaries pass, so it is an area with water, which can develop agriculture. In the Congo area, there is a desert, which prevents agriculture. And finally, the area of Angola is a very arid area that has hardly any water and cannot carry out activities such as agriculture.

LUANDA: It is the main financial, commercial and economic center of Angola. Here, food processing plants, paper, wood, textile, metal, etc., industries are located. The central area of the city is divided into 2 parts: Baixa de Luanda (the old city) and Cidade Alta. As for air pollution, it has a level 53, which is a moderate level, and as for other pollution, it has urban solid waste contamination. In this city, there is no problem of water scarcity, but of drinkable water.

The most populated cities in Central Africa are Kinshasa and Luanda, located in the countries of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and in Angola.
