What is the digestive system?

The wisdom teeth don’t do anything but they used to grind!!

The teeth are the start of our digestive system.

What happens in your intestines?

The first part of the small intestine works with juices from the liver and pancreas to continue to break down your food! 

Chewing is the first stage of the digestive system. When you chew your food breaks into small pieces of food so it is easier to digest the small pieces then the big pieces!

Fun Fact: The acid in the stomach can dissolve metal!

What happens in your stomach?

 The food hangs out in the stomach for around four hours!

Humans have 2 sets of teeth during their lives:milk teeth and adult. There are 4 types of teeth. We have wisdom teeth,canines,molars and incisors!!

The molars and premolars are at the back for crushing food. The incisors are sharp for biting off food. The canines are pointed for gripping and tearing food
