The teeth are the start of the digestive system.Humans have two sets of teeth your baby teeth and adult teeth. There are five types of teeth we have wisdom teeth,canines,molars, incisors and premolars . The premolars and molars are at the back for crushing. Incisors are sharp for biting food. The canines are for griping and tearing food. Did you know  adults have 32 teeth and children have 20 teeth.

The food in your stomach hangs around for four hours.while the food sits there more enzymes go to work on it breaking things down like proiteins that the stomach can use. The stomach kills a lot of bacteria so we don’t become sick.

Humans have two types of intestines the large and small. The first part of the small intestine stats with juices from the liver and pancreas to continue to break down the food. The second part is where the food gets absorbed into our blood through the body
