Chewing is the first stage. The food gets smaller so it’s easier to eat. After that, the food goes down the oesophagus. Then some of the bad food goes to the other part of your body.

What happens in your stomach?

The next stage is the stomach. The food sits their for four hours, while the enzymes go to work on it , breaking down things like proteins that our body can use. Did you know that stomach acid can dissolve metal!

What happens in your intestines?

Small intestine:The small intestine sucks all the nutrients your body needs. Large intestine: The large intestine sends the bad stuff to your rectum down your anus!!!<br/>

Humans have two sets of teeth in lifetime.Milk teeth and adult teeth.

The molars and premolars are at the back for crushing.

The incisors are sharp for biting off food. The canines are pointed for gripping and tearing food.
