It is important we understand our own feelings, to help us understand the feelings of others. We did some role play on how to deal with different situations. Below are some of the pictures from our scenes.

Some children in our class speak a different language at home. Have a listen to some of the children telling you about themselves.

At the start of the year, we discussed different places we have been on holiday and the different cultures we have experienced.

In Year 2, we understand how important it is to be kind and empathetic to everyone we meet. We came up with some words all about how we are caring to everyone in our community.

Many people (including children) across the world sign as a way of communicating with others. We have continued to learn some Makaton. Enjoy watching some of the recordings below. Can you sign your name?
