The math test review for the middle of the school year test was not hard but not easy. Ash did not study at all so his grade was a F-. Dexter studied a lot but skimmed on it so he got an C+. Carter, being the nerd he's, got a straight A+. Need some help? Carter teased. The friends regretted teasing Carter a few years ago. They teased him all the time. But Carter always teased him when he got a straight A. On the bus, they were worried what their mom would say. When they got home and they showed their parents their test, they were really mad. They said if this keeps up, than they would go far away and never ever see each other again.

On the bus, they talked about it. They thought of ways to get rid of it.”Maybe a super power juice that made everyone around you smart?” Ash wondered. “And when will that happen?” Dexter said to correct him. “True.” replied Ash. “ By the way, we sit next to Carter. Wouldn't that make him smart?” Dexter replied to make Ash’s answer not make sense. “Oh yeah.” Ash whispered. Screech! The school bus stopped at school. “Let's go inside before we get called late.” Dexter told to Ash as they hurried to the school. There was one thing that they forgot.

In 5 days was the middle of the school year test! This year whatever grade you get goes on EVERY GRADE on your report card!! Suddenly, Ash reminded Dexter the note that it told the boys that the grades they got was on your report card. “Oh no!” Dexter thought! “W-what day is it?” Dexter asked Ash in a nervous look. “2-18-34!” Carter burst into the conversation. “So, did you study for the test?” Everyone knows that's it’s in 5 days!! “Be quiet and go away.” Dexter told Carter with a pained look. “What’s wrong Dexter?”Ash asked. “I did not study. And in 5 days is the test!” Dexter looked like he was going to be the most depressed person ever. “Where in the world would we get smart? Only one way…”Ash whispered to Dexter. He said something to Dexter very quiet.
“NO WAY AM I DOING THAT!” Screamed Dexter. “Fine… i'll ask…..” They went to Carter and asked him something. “Realy? After all this time, you come and ask me this?” “ Well… Will you do it or not?” Asked Dexter hopefully. “Nope!” Screamed Carter in a funny way. However, Dexter didn’t find it funny. Dexter and Ash walked out of the room with pained looks. “Now what?” Dexter told Ash being a little mad at him to.

The Next Day
Today was a not normal day. Carter, looked like he was forgiving them two. “Now’s our chance.” Ash told Dexter. Before Dexter could say a word, they walked up to Carter.  “Please help us.” Ash pleaded. ‘Fine…” Carter said. “YEAH!” Ash screamed in Dexter’s ear. “I KNEW IT!” Ash added. “Don’t get TOO confident. One day we might regret doing this. Carter Might trick us.” Dexter said that last part slowly and then hurried to his class. Maybe. Just maybe... Ash thought. Ash ran to class so he wouldn't get late.

The Next Day
Three Days Left.
Such little time especially if you don't get good grades.
The truth was, Dexter DID NOT study for the test. Bad luck was hitting Dexter fast. However, Dexter did not feel bad. He felt somehow happy. Nothing Ash did was study.
Study, study, and study. Only thirty minutes out of his room every day. 10 minutes for breakfast lunch and dinner. Dexter just played games ALL day. Dexter knocked on Ash’s door. He came out 10 minutes later. “We need to go Dude. We’re late for Carter’s practice.” Ash told him in a hurry full way. “Ok….” Dexter told him. They ran to Carter’s practice and sat down. They learned everything. They studied for three days.
