Squirrel
Squirrels can cause big disruptions even though they are small creatures. Squirrels can cause major power outages by chewing on wires or walking on wires and damaging them.

World War One
Soldiers in the trenches in Europe
World War One was the war to end all wars. This was not the case unfortunately since World War Two followed about twenty years later. World War One was one of the biggest disruptions in history. World War One was a disruption because it disrupted the lives of families in Canada even though it was fought overseas.
Many men were fighting in the trenches so a lot of women in Canada had to work outside the home for the first time and earn a living or the family income would come to a screeching halt. This disrupted the whole economy. Many men died in the war which meant that families were emotionally devastated and raised by single parents. A lot of soldiers came back wounded physically and emotionally so this disrupted their families. They didn’t have medical technology and knowledge to help them that they do now.

Would you go to war?
I would not be willing to go into World War One because of the horrible things that happened to the soldiers and what they had to do. These horrible things included losing limbs, being blown up, dying and let’s not forget the psychological impact of seeing these events occur. Not only when the battles are happening but when you get home you may have to live with a mental or physical injury for a long time. I would try to help the war effort in a different way like raising money to help out.
