MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Accompsett Middle School Library is to:

Provide access to a diverse collection of resources in a variety of media to meet the information needs of students and staff.

Ensure that students and staff are effective users of information.

Encourage and support an interest and competency in reading and an appreciation for literature.

Collaborate with other educators to create lessons that integrate information literacy skills into the curriculum assignments and projects.

Provide students with a variety of opportunities to enhance their learning and explore their passion and creativity.
