About 2 or 3 years ago there was a camp called Camp Rabbit Hill in northern North Carolina. Camp Rabbit Hill was quite small but very fun. They had fun camp games, water games, and every evening the campers went down to the campfire to enjoy some tasty snacks.
July 23, 2001 is called "Death Day" at Camp Rabbit Hill. Even though this camp is closed, police advise that no one go anywhere near this camp because of what happened on this horrible night.
On this day, Destiny, one of the camp counselors, was counting all the kids to go down to the campfire to enjoy some delicious s'mores. When she was counting, she realized she only had 83 kids. Then she remembered that one little girl who was 6 at the time named Grace went to the cabin to go to the bathroom. Destiny told all the kids that she was going to go check on her and told them to wait where they were. As Destiny walked into the cabin she shouted, "Grace! Grace! Hurry up in there we're going to make s'mores." There was no response. She yelled again, "Grace! Grace!" Destiny received no response again. She shouted, "Ok, I'm going to have to come in. Here I come!" As she opened the door she said,"Grace?" and realized she wasn't in there. Destiny walked out of the cabin and yelled, " Has anyone seen Grace?" Everyone replied they hadn't and they were confused about why she wasn't in there. Destiny remarked, "Maybe she's at the campfire waiting for us." As she said that everybody began to walk down to the campfire.
As they were walking down to the campfire, in confusion, they saw that the fire was lit up already. As Destiny and the campers moved closer they all saw a figure. The figure was tall and had horns. Destiny rubbed her eyes in fear and panic. After she did that the figure suddenly disappeared. "But where did it go?" she shouted. Then she looked down at the fire and saw Grace roasting in the fire! Her body was in a ball and her mouth had an apple in it. All the kids screamed and ran. Destiny stayed, absolutely frightened and upset, and called for backup. As all of the camp counselors were walking down to the campfire to help, a terrifying scream from a camper ripped through the air. Destiny quickly ran back to see what had happened.
Destiny was running back and saw a little boy crying frantically on the ground. She asked, "What's wrong?" She looked down in horror and saw that his toes were all cut off! "Ahhhhh!" she screamed. She picked up her phone and called 911.
