Moving Up days are your child’s opportunity to meet their teacher for September; Mrs Bourner, and familiarise themselves with the classroom and school routines. Tuesday 12th July 2022 9.00am Please bring your child to Nursery (we will take the children to school) 3.30pm Please collect your child from Nursery (we will bring the children back to Nursery) Wednesday 13th July 2022 9.00am Please bring your child to Nursery (we will take the children to school) 2.00pm Parent/carer meeting 3.30pm Please collect your child from Nursery (we will bring the children back to Nursery) We would like to offer your child a school meal on the moving up days. Please book a school meal via the Gateway by Saturday 2nd July if you would like your child to have a meal. Any charge for meals booked for these two days will be waived.

If your child has attended Little Woodlands Nursery, you do not need to complete this form again. 2. <a href="https://forms.office.com/r/83XiBXpxq3">Consent Form</a> - parental consent is needed for use of your child's image and off-site activities. If you have already completed this form, you do not need to complete it again unless you wish to change your consent preferences. 3. <a href="https://forms.office.com/r/iVmwnq1HFW">ICT agreement</a> - please review with your child and complete the associated online form. 4. <a href="https://oneonline.devon.gov.uk/CCSCitizenPortal_LIVE/en">Free School Meals</a> and <a href="https://www.devon.gov.uk/educationandfamilies/school-information/school-meals/new-starter-pupil-premium">Pupil Premium</a> Application Forms. Please review the information in the links to determine if your child is eligible for either or both of these funds. Please note that, even if your child is in Reception class and therefore eligible for Universal Free School Meals, you should apply for Free School Meals in addition if you met the eligibility criteria.

It is a pleasure to have your child join our school in our Owls reception class in September. Your child will be taught in a community that values each and every child. We have put together an A to Z of Life at Winkleigh Primary School to help you understand our school routines, expectations, curriculum, and provide you with lots more information. Please read through the A-Z on page 3 of this e-book and bring any questions you may have to the parent/carer welcome meeting that we will be holding in school on Wednesday 13th July 2022 at 2.00pm. The welcome meeting will be your opportunity to meet the Owls Reception class teacher; Mrs Bourner, and have a tour of the classroom, plus ask any questions you may have after you’ve read through the A-Z.
