one day maui asked his brothers if he could go fishing cause he really wanted to go fishing. But his brothers said no so he walked off. The brothers names were all maui. maui taha,maui roto,maui pae,and maui waho and one sister hina anyway he really wanted to go with his brothers he thought of something he was gonna hide under the waka they use to go fishing on.

the brothers took the waka out and they went way way way out sea. They go out there ika hooks out and started fishing they did not catch anything maui pae was confuesed cause he felt more wait on the boat then before so he said to maui toko did you eat extra ika cause the boat feels alot heavy then before. Maui toko said no then maui came said surprise! all his brothers said maui what are you doing here maui said i want fish with you guys so i went under the waka. Maui pae said i wounder why there was more wait.

Maui got angry he hit his nose so hard that it made it bleed. It got all over his murirangawhenua,s jawbone put it in water and the boat started shakeing the boat was about to filp while he was pulling the brother,s were yelling MAUI STOP CUT THE ROPE LEAVE THE ROPE WERE GONNA FALL!!!
