Spain: 1-We can communicate with 400 million people with our lenguage. 2-Kiss in both cheeks. 3-Number 13 in an unlucky number. 4-Siesta time after have lunch, especially in summer. 5-The hospitality in Spain is a really representative value. 6-We normaly have dinner late. 7-There are several languages in each part of Spain. 8-We speak fast and aloud. 9-When we talk, we gesticulate a lot. 10-Timetables are different starting late / finish late. 11-We are not very puntual. 12-There is a big difference between South/North. 13-The tapa is a really tipical thing. 14-We love football. 15-We have monarquy. 16-We like the portuguese food. 17-There is a superstition whit the black cat. 18-We produce a lot of clean energy. 19-The Christmas holidays are until 10th of January. 20-Spain is one of the most visited country. 21-It is a diverse country. 22-The live rate is in 84 years. 23-Birth rate is very low. 24-The school starts at 3 years old.

We do have our Latin blood but we also have a melancholic temperament unlike any other Latin countries. In fact, we are probably more similar to the people of northern Europe in that sense.&nbsp;

The Portuguese are addicted to the Sun. Whether on the beach, the city, the countryside, the terraces or in the parks, the Portuguese always enjoy the sunny days and get a little depressed when rainy days come.

Discovering the world

Portugal was once one of the biggest empires in the world. Portugal was also the first country to go in search of the new world and if that had not happened, the world would be a very different place today. The Portuguese were the first to round the tip of Africa, make it to India by sea, and to discover Brazil. Many Portuguese people also believe that Christopher Columbus came from Portugal, possibly from Madeira.

Greece

Greek people are very polite and welcoming, towards each other and tourists. 

Since the ancient times the Greeks have had the belief that they should be hospitable to everyone, regardless of their ethnicity or background. 

There are certain behaviours that people have to do to be polite. For example, when someone is having someone over in their house, the right thing is to offer them a snack or a drink. But, the visitor many times also brings sweets for the host.

Before eating, everyone should hit everyone else's glass and say "is igian" which means "for health" and then drink.

Xenios Zeus Zeus was not only the father of gods but also the god of hospitality.

The number 17 is considerated an unlucky number, in some hotels there isn't the 17th room and on the planes there isn't the 17th seat, that's because of the anagram of the latin number 17 "VIXI", this means "I lived". The number 13 in italy is considerated a lucky number because is matched to an important saint (saint Antonio).

The black cat brings bad luck because of witches The meaning that made the black cat a symbol "bad luck" dates back to medieval Europe when this dark-haired feline was associated with the world of witches and believed to be their descendant.

Clothing

Czech Christmas -Czechs don't have Santa Claus, but we have "Ježíšek"(which is Baby Jesus in Czech). -We celebrate Christmas on 24th in the evening, usually we have a family dinner and after it we give each other Christmas gifts. -The typical meal for Christmas dinner is carp with potato salad, but more and more often(especially kids) have a schnitzel. Christmas traditions: -One of them is molybdomancy(which is pouring hot lead into water), from the shape that's created, we predict our future. -Next tradition is carving apples in half, if seeds make a shape of star, it means that you'll have a good luck for one year. -The next is launching a little boats, that are made of walnut shells and little candles, which predicts who's gonna stay at home with family and who will separate from the family.

- In the Czech Republic there are schools with school canteens where the kids and teachers eat lunches.

- We eat food that has many calories and it's not really healthy.

- Traditional food is for example: ,,Svíčková" (vegetable sauce with cream, sirloin and "knedlík" - dumpling)

,,Vepřo knedlo zelo" (pork meat with potato knedlík and cabbage)

- On family celebrations we eat lots of food, for example ,,Chlebíčky" or ,,Jednohubky"

We like to criticize our country for everything and nothing, but we are extremely angry and strongly defend our homeland when it is criticized by foreigners. Yes, Portugal is a bit like our wives or husbands: only we can complain about them, nobody else. When we are in the table we don´t put our elbows over it and our hands should never be under the table.

THE POWER OF STORYTELLING

Many stories about the Greek Gods, as well as epic stories such as Homer's The Odyssey, depicted characters exhibiting those values that were so important to the Greeks.

We are a very nice people and we love to host foreigners. When we greet someone we usually kiss each other in the face. Men greet each other with a handshake. Covid has changed our way of greeting: nowadays we just join hands like giving a sweet punch.

Easter in Czech republic: For Easter, girls paint Easter eggs on Easter Sunday and boys come to gently whip them with a willow whip on Monday, so stay healthy and beautiful for the whole year.

this is our folk costume and the boys usually have what we call soturek which is the thing they carry in their bottle of wine

Czech traditional dress is very colorful, every village has its own pattern the dresses are mostly white red and blue

The&nbsp;Ride of the Kings&nbsp;is a festival that is celebrated in Spring in Moravia In 2011, it was added to the&nbsp;UNESCO List of intangible cultural heritage. The ceremony begins with a religious service and the approval of the Mayor, followed by the preparation of the costumes and decorations for the horses and riders.

The Czechs don't wear a lot of formal clothing. Usually, we wear outdoor clothing, even to work or school.

Czechs also wear a lot of weird clothing like socks in sandals... pretty weird I must say :) We also wear kidney bags.

Greek Superstitions: -the evil eye -Tuesday 13th -breaking mirrors -opening an umbrella inside one's house -throwing coins inside a newly-purchased car -entering a house with your right foot, especially on New Year's Day -knocking on wood when hearing something negative -remaining silent until you reach your house when receiving holy fire with your candle on Easter Day

Do's and don'ts: -Do try the delicious cuisine and eat as much as you can -Do bring a gift when visiting somebody's house -Do ask for help, as Greeks are extremely friendly and willing to lend a hand -Do tip the waiters and do pay the whole bill when eating out with friends -Do try to be open about yourself and do show interest towards others -Don't make the ''moutza'' gesture (showing and pushing forward your palm with your fingers open) -Don't be surprised by the loudness and expressiveness of Greeks. -Don't make comments of someone's integrity and honour.

- we have problems with being associated with our own country --&gt; ("You are so german"), the patriotism is not really welcome - the people here are pretty sensitive

- young people greet older ones - sometimes you nod your head (f.e. on the streets) - speak loud and clearly - "you" with close people f.e. friends, family / "Sie" as a formal way f.e. teachers, strangers, adults - be polite - let other people talk out - using a minimum of gestures makes you appear serious
