INCREDIBLE WORDS!!
ENGLISH LANGUAGE
Idioms are a group of words that are normally used to make different informal expressions. Many of these idioms are commonly used in movies or songs.

For example in the song “Thinking out loud” by Ed Sheeran , thinking out loud means to say a thought for others to hear.In the song “If I can’t have you” by Shawn Mendes ,another idiom appears, to keep one’s distance which means stay away from someone. Another example is out of the blue that appears in the song “Someone like you” by Adele. That idiom means something that happened without expecting it. Also an idiom appears in the song "Chandelier" in which the idiom  to blow up one’s phone means the repetition of calling someone.

Some of the idioms which are widely used are those related to love such as An idiom related to love is “end of the story”, which means that discussion is complete, that there’s no more to be said. In fact, a song that contains this idiom is “The Story” by Conan Gray —Oh, and I’m afraid that’s just the way the world works, but I think that it could work for you and me. Just wait and see. It’s not the end of the story.

The next example is “no love lost”. This idiom means that there’s no feeling of respect or affection between two people. In other words, a mutual dislike between a pair of people. Joy Division uses this idiom as the title of one of their songs: “No Love Lost”—She shuddered instinctively. No life at all in the house of dolls. No love lost.

Finally, another idiom related with love is“match made in heaven”, which means a perfect couple in every way. An example of a song which uses this idiom is “A Match Made in Heaven” by Architects —A match made in heaven, paved the road to hell—

In conclusion, idioms are present in our lives and are frequently used.
