Mom
My name is Mary and I am writing about my cultural heritage. My mother Ofelia Alba Navas was born and raised in Honduras. She was the 8th child of Jose Navas Maria and Maria Rosa Navas. Her father was a Captain in the army and died before she was born. Life was hard during her youth. She came to the United State in 1944 when she was 20 years old.
