In Winter, Francesco makes sure the birds around his garden have plenty of food.

As his passion for birdwatching grew, he started to travel to different areas and nations.

First he observed the birds who live in his garden

This is Francesco Barberini, he is thirteen years old and he lives in Acquapendente, (Viterbo) in Central part of Italy north of Rome

On youtube we watched a lot of videos that Francesco filmed, and we all got very interested in his story. He is a real inspiration for us.

Francesco started to observe birds and read books about birds

At home Francesco takes care of five hens and two peacocks.

Francesco became a real bird expert. When he was nine he wrote his first book!
