Libby Riddles, the first woman to complete the Iditarod
Libby Riddles won the Iditarod even after her setback.


Out in the night Libby saw a grouping of housing with only one light up after she had turned the wrong way. She went up and asked where she was and a man pointed her in the right direction. She was still leading.
She won the Iditarod in 1985.
Libby Riddles and her dogs took a wrong turn 30 miles from the finish line.
